Rob Furlong

About
Rob Furlong was appointed Head of Middle School in September 2019. He has responsibility for the overall programme in this area of the school, which includes oversight of the academic, pastoral and co-curricular welfare of the students in Years 10 & 11.
Rob joined Millfield in September 2001, and has previously held positions of responsibility in both the academic and pastoral areas of the school. Immediately prior to becoming Head of Middle School, Rob had been a Head of Year from September 2011.
Rob holds a BSc in Mathematics with Sport Science from Loughborough University, an MEd in Mathematics Education from the University of Exeter and completed his PGCE (Mathematics) at the University of Bristol.
