Elvin Rafael Giron Montes

Elvin Rafael Giron Montes serves as the IFRS & Tax Manager at Millicom (Tigo) since 2008, focusing on the analysis and implementation of IFRS standards and ensuring their accurate application in financial reporting, while also overseeing tax planning and the recognition of transactions. Prior experience includes roles as Group Tax Manager at EY and Consulting Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers SIA, along with an early career as an Auditor. Elvin is pursuing multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Universidad Rafael Landívar, as well as an Associate of Science in Data Science from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Mariano Gálvez, in addition to being a Certified Public Accountant from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
