Roderick Atencio

Roderick Atencio is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications sector with extensive experience in network operations and support management. Currently serving as Surveillance Leader at Millicom (Tigo) since January 2020, Roderick previously held managerial roles at Cable Onda from October 2014 to January 2020, including Gerente del Centro de Soporte de la Red and Gerente de Gestión de Servicios. Roderick's earlier experience includes a position at Cable & Wireless Panama as Gerente de Administración y Control de Servicios Externos, where significant improvements in service delivery were achieved. Roderick's career at Cable Onda began in 1998, where key initiatives included the creation of the NOC and leading a departmental unification following the merger with Telecarrier. Roderick holds a Licenciatura en Telecomunicaciones from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá and a Técnico en Programación from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
