Brian Hartman

Brian Hartman is a seasoned statistician and academic with extensive experience in the field of statistics and actuarial science. Currently serving as a Statistician at Milliman since May 2021 and as a member of the Board of Directors at Bear River Mutual since November 2020, Brian has contributed significantly to the academic community as an Associate Professor of Statistics and Actuarial Program Coordinator at Brigham Young University since July 2015. Previous roles include Assistant Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Connecticut and various research positions in the insurance industry, including Liberty Mutual and The Hartford. Brian holds a PhD in Statistics from Texas A&M University and a BS in Actuarial Science from Brigham Young University, complemented by a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo.
