Kristen Southward

Kristen Southward is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in platform engineering and technical architecture, currently serving as the Head of Platform Engineering at Milliman since April 2024. Prior to this role, Kristen held several significant positions at Iress, including Principal of Platform Engineering and Lead Technical Architect for Lending, where responsibilities included driving cloud adoption, application modernization, and overseeing the development of a new mortgage sales platform. Kristen's career also spans roles as a Technical Architect at Avelo, a Technical Consultant at N4 Solutions, and a Senior Developer at English Heritage, each contributing to a strong foundation in software development, integration, and engineering. Kristen earned a degree in Business Information Technology from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
