Cecilie Øyås

EVP Global Development at Million Air

Cecilie Øyås has a diverse work experience. Cecilie currently serves as the EVP Global Development at Million Air, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Consultant at Essential Jet Solutions from March 2020 to October 2022. At CHIRP, they held the role of Vice President Operations from February 2021 to February 2022, focusing on improving processes and technology in the business aviation industry. Before that, they had a long tenure at Stratajet where they held various positions, including Head of Supply and Charter from July 2017 to March 2020, Head of U.S. Operations from December 2016 to June 2017, and Operator Relationship Manager and Pilot from May 2015 to December 2016. Their responsibilities at Stratajet included team management, client relations, and business strategy. Cecilie also worked at Blackbushe Aviation as a Flight Instructor and Operations Assistant, providing pilot instruction and developing relationships with students from September 2014 to March 2020. Moreover, they have experience as the General Manager at Parishcouncil.net from September 2014 to May 2015.

Cecilie Øyås has an extensive education history in the field of aviation. In 2006-2007, they attended BI Norwegian Business School, specializing in International Marketing. Cecilie also completed a degree in the same field from the same institution during that time. Continuing their education, Øyås enrolled in London Metropolitan University in 2008-2009, where they obtained an Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Additionally, during the same period, they attended CAA/Fly West Flying School, focusing on obtaining a Private Pilot License (PPL) and Hour Building. In 2009-2010, Øyås pursued an Air Traffic Pilot Licence Theory Degree at London Metropolitan University. Transitioning to flight training, they attended Stapleford Flight Centre from 2010-2012, completing their Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Multi Engine (ME) rating, and Instrument Rating (IR). Later in 2012, they attended Oxford Aviation Academy for the Multi Crew-Cooperation (MCC) and Jet Orientation Course (JOC) on the Boeing 737-400. In 2014, they enrolled in Blackbushe Aviation to pursue a Flight Instructor Course (FIC). Cecilie also obtained a Flight Instructor degree from the same institution in 2014. Currently, Øyås is still enrolled in Blackbushe Aviation for further flight training in their pursuit of becoming a professional airline pilot and flight crew member.
