Matthew Rowell

Matthew Rowell currently serves as the Director of Engineering at DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Key Resort since November 2023, while also working as a Line Service Technician at Million Air since May 2022. Rowell has a diverse background in hotel engineering and management, having previously held positions as Director of Engineering at Courtyard by Marriott, Aimbridge Hospitality, and The Magnolia Hotel, where significant responsibilities included overseeing engineering operations, managing budgets, and maintaining critical infrastructure. Additional experience includes roles as Area Director of Engineering and Dual Director of Engineering, alongside positions in guest services at Marlin Bay Yacht Club and Sourwood Inn. Rowell holds a BA in Leisure Studies from the University of West Florida, earned between 1992 and 1997.
