Nikole Adams

AVP for Institutional Advancement at Mills College

Ms. Nikole Adams is the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Ms. Adams has served in many roles in advancement and alumnae/i engagement at Mills since 2010. In her current role, she supervises fundraising, engagement, and communication activities within the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Ms. Adams works closely with the President, College Officers, and the Board of Trustees to translate College priorities into fundraising opportunities. She fosters relationships with alumnae and donors and solicits gifts to support a wide range of College initiatives including gifts to the Mills College Annual Fund. She develops and supports communication strategies and events designed to build engagement and increase the visibility of Mills and its alumnae/i.

Prior to coming to Mills, Ms. Adams served in a variety of roles at non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting and advancing women.

Ms. Adams received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in women’s studies from California State University, Chico.

She lives in Livermore, California and enjoys quilting, swimming, and camping throughout Northern California with family and friends.
