Richard Santy

Richard is an employment partner based in the firm's Birmingham and London offices. His focus is on the private sector and, while he advises on all aspects of employment law, has a particular emphasis on complex litigation. Richard is also a core member of the sports and retail sector teams.

Richard helped a major global retailer with a series of connected tribunal claims involving five claimants, eight separate issues and a total of five weeks before a judge. While the objective is always to avoid litigation for clients, sometimes this in't possible and it is vital to put the client's best case across. To see the faces of the witnesses when their actions were vindicated still gives Richard an immense sense of satisfaction even to this day.
