Vivian Sun

Vivian Sun is an experienced educator currently serving as Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach at Milpitas Unified School District since June 2018, where Vivian was recognized as Certificated Staff of the Year in 2023. Previously, Vivian held the role of Founding Teacher and received the Certificated Teacher of the Year award in 2019. Vivian's background includes student teaching positions in both 5th and 1st grades and a significant tenure at VIPKID, where Vivian taught ESL to children from China. Additionally, Vivian has contributed to teacher development as a New Teacher Practicum Evaluator and supported student activities during an internship at Haverford College. Vivian holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Education from Haverford College.
