Wei Lin

Wei Lin is a skilled Technical Sales Consultant at Miltenyi Biotec since February 2016. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at MIT Chemistry Department from October 2011 to October 2014, where research focused on developing small molecule fluorescent zinc sensors and studying zinc homeostasis in neuronal stem cells and optic nerve injury. Additionally, Wei Lin worked as a Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory from May 2009 to May 2011, successfully purifying and characterizing the first ZIP homolog, ZIPB, and functionally characterizing its role in zinc influx. Wei Lin completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Ohio University between 2004 and 2009, following a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1998 to 2002.
