Head Coach, Girls Ice Hockey, Class Dean & Teacher at Milton Academy

Ryan Stone has a diverse background in coaching and leadership roles within the ice hockey field. Ryan started their career in 1995 as the Head Coach for Women's Ice Hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they were responsible for coaching skills and strategies, budgeting, recruiting, and promoting the program. Ryan then served as the Assistant Coach for Women's Hockey at Brown University from 2000 to 2005. Following this, they took on the role of Head Coach for the Chinese Women's National Hockey Team, where they developed the entire national program and coached the national team. Ryan then transitioned to being the Assistant Women's Hockey Coach at Colgate University, where they focused on player recruitment, development, and game scheduling. In 2012, they joined Milton Academy as the Head Coach for Girls Ice Hockey and a Class Dean, overseeing class development and coaching. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Coach for the Boston Blades from 2012 to 2015. Finally, they have been involved with USA Hockey as a coach since 2008.

Ryan Stone earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Lawrence University in 1991. Ryan then completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1993.
