Peter Sams

Peter Sams is an accomplished information security professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Milton CAT since November 2025, where Peter focuses on enterprise-wide information security strategies. Previously, Peter held the position of Executive Senior Director of Cybersecurity at Cengage Group from April 2018 to August 2025, leading a global team in the execution of a comprehensive security strategy based on the NIST Framework. Prior experience includes serving as Director of IT Infrastructure at Dassault Systèmes, where Peter ensured high-availability hosting solutions, and as IT Director at SolidWorks, where leadership was provided to a worldwide IT team, implementing critical security measures and compliance standards. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
