Louise James

Project Director: Curriculum Transition at Milton Keynes College

Louise James has over 16 years of experience in the education sector. Louise started their career as an IT Trainer at The College Ystrad Mynach in 2003 before moving on to become a Learning Advisor at Coleg Gwent in 2004. From there, they joined Milton Keynes College Group in 2005 as a Lecturer in Digital, progressing through various roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Head of Department, Deputy Director of Faculty, and Head of School for Digital Technologies and Business. Louise'scurrent role is Project Director overseeing curriculum transition.

Louise James began their education journey at Stantonbury Campus from 1991 to 1997, earning 4 A Levels and 14 GCSEs in various subjects. Louise later pursued a BSc (Hons) in Computer Studies & Business Studies at the University of South Wales from 1998 to 2001. In 2007, Louise completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Subject Learning Coaching at Oxford Brookes University. Continuing their education, they obtained a PGCE in Post-Compulsary Education from the University of South Wales in 2001. Louise is currently working towards a D32/D33 Assessor Awards at the University of South Wales in 2022.
