Carlos Villanueva

Carlos Villanueva, currently serving as a Senior Special Assistant to the General Manager at the Milwaukee Brewers since April 2018, has extensive experience in both player development and baseball operations. Prior to this role, Carlos held various positions within the Brewers organization, including Special Assistant to the General Manager and Special Advisor. Carlos’ professional baseball career includes playing for teams such as the Hanwha Eagles Baseball Club, San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Milwaukee Brewers, spanning from 2002 to 2016. Additionally, Carlos served as a Union Player Representative for the Major League Baseball Players Association for a decade, demonstrating a commitment to athlete representation and labor relations in professional sports.
