Samer Jassar

Samer Jassar is the current Director of Basketball Strategy & Analytics for the Milwaukee Bucks. Samer was previously an assistant with the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2016 to 2019 and also worked with the Shapiro Negotiations Institute from 2013 to 2016 as a strategic planner. Their responsibilities at the Institute included providing negotiations training and consulting services to multiple NBA and NFL front offices, deal-coaching and consulting services to Business Operation teams in the NBA, MLB and NFL, preparing scripts for use in preparation and negotiations, and interpretation of the NBA and NFL Collective Bargaining Agreements as it related to negotiating player contracts and trades. Samer also has experience managing, organizing and updating players and teams salaries, depth charts, trades and other materials that are related to the NBA trade deadline, the NBA draft, and the NBA free agency, as well as the NFL draft and the NFL free agency. Samer Jassar is a graduate of Butler University.

Samer Jassar has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management, accounting and economics from Baker University. Samer also attended Barton Community College.

Samer Jassar reports to Robert Cordova, Chief Technology & Strategy Officer. Samer Jassar works with Ron Kiepert - Executive Director, IT, Pat Haneman - Director, Basketball Strategy & Analytics.
