Hunter Schaufel

Hunter Schaufel is a Design Researcher at TestedHQ since December 2022, where expertise in quantitative and qualitative data collection supports brand power tool companies in shaping product design. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on implicit gender bias in design, and earning the President’s Undergraduate Research Award. Hunter's educational background comprises a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Notable roles also include staff designer at Design Bloc, design research intern at Techtronic Industries, and volunteer designer for PFLAG Atlanta. Additional experience includes roles at Kimberly-Clark Professional, Ethicon, Inc., and the Exploratorium Museum of Science, all of which contributed to a robust understanding of product development, human-centered design, and community impact.
