Stephen Petrie

Stephen Petrie currently serves as the Informal Education Coordinator and Educator II at the Milwaukee Public Museum since September 2021. Previous experience includes the role of Education Coordinator at Allen County Fort Wayne Historical Society Inc. from May 2018 to May 2021, and University Oral Historian at Loyola University Chicago for a shorter tenure in 2017-2018. As a co-founder of Historians for a Just Society, Stephen contributed to promoting social justice through public history projects. Additional roles include museum internship at Glessner House Museum and tour guiding at Chicago's First Lady Cruises, along with experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and historic consulting at Armbruster Jewelers. Stephen holds a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
