Tom Sweeney

Tom Sweeney is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in project management and engineering across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of IT Programs at Mimecast, responsibilities include managing the implementation of IT infrastructure for new remote offices. Tom is also an entrepreneur at BBI, Inc., where a patent-pending aftermarket car accessory product has been developed. Previous roles include Senior IT Consultant positions at a Major RI Financial Institution, and Mimecast, along with significant leadership roles at F5 Networks and EMC, overseeing large teams and engineering initiatives. Tom holds a BA in Mathematics from Providence College and has completed an Executive MBA program at the University of Rhode Island.
