Jarrod Overson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and threat research. Currently serving as VP of Threat Research at Mimic since December 2023, Jarrod's previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Candle and Director of Engineering at Shape Security. Jarrod's foundation in engineering began at Napster, where distributed backend systems were developed and maintained. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at OneHealth Solutions and Riot Games, as well as founding Gossamer Solutions, LLC, focusing on training and consulting for modern web technologies. Jarrod also co-founded JavaScriptU, where modern web development was taught and promoted.
