Muhammad Najib Kamarudin

Muhammad Najib Kamarudin has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of engineering. Muhammad Najib started their career as a Young Graduate Trainee at UEM Builders BHD, where they were involved in the construction of the Penang Second Crossing Bridge. Muhammad Najib later joined Muhibbah Engineering (M) BHD as a Site Engineer and worked on projects such as the Petroleum Hub and Bunkering Facility in Tg Bin, Johor, and the Privatization of South Klang Valley Ekspressway (SKVE).

Najib then joined PESONA METRO HOLDING BHD as a Project Engineer, where they oversaw the construction of a dual-lane carriageway for the Central Spine Road project in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. Muhammad Najib was responsible for the structure and infrastructure works, including bridge constructions.

In 2013, Najib joined SMHB Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Resident Engineer, working on the construction and completion of elevated stations in Saujana Impian, Bandar Kajang, and Kajang. Muhammad Najib provided assistance to the Resident Engineer and performed specific duties as directed by the project requirements.

Najib's next role was as a QAQC Engineer at Lebuhraya Borneo Utara Sdn.Bhd, where they worked on the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Project. This project involved constructing a 4-lane dual carriageway spanning over 1000 km. Najib's responsibilities included monitoring, supervising, and checking the construction works, particularly related to quality assurance and control.

From 2018 to 2019, Najib worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer at MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK). During this time, they focused on ensuring the quality of construction works.

Their most recent role is as an Assistant Resident Engineer (QAQC) at Minconsult Sdn Bhd, where they are involved in the construction and completion of the Light Rail Transit Line 3 project. Their responsibilities include overall project monitoring, supervising, and reporting on construction works, with a focus on quality assurance and control.

Muhammad Najib Kamarudin earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Construction Management: Managing Risk in June 2020 from LinkedIn.
