Muhammad Najib Kamarudin has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of engineering. Muhammad Najib started their career as a Young Graduate Trainee at UEM Builders BHD, where they were involved in the construction of the Penang Second Crossing Bridge. Muhammad Najib later joined Muhibbah Engineering (M) BHD as a Site Engineer and worked on projects such as the Petroleum Hub and Bunkering Facility in Tg Bin, Johor, and the Privatization of South Klang Valley Ekspressway (SKVE).

Najib then joined PESONA METRO HOLDING BHD as a Project Engineer, where they oversaw the construction of a dual-lane carriageway for the Central Spine Road project in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. Muhammad Najib was responsible for the structure and infrastructure works, including bridge constructions.
