Research Engineer II at Mind Foundry

Andreas Pentaliotis has been working in the field of research since 2011. Andreas began their career as an Officer Designate in the National Guard of Cyprus, where they completed a two-year military service and went through military training in Greece. Andreas then moved on to the University of Cyprus in 2016, where they were hired as a Research Assistant in the Experimental Psychology Lab. Theirresearch project involved simulating an object recognition experiment, and they implemented an object recognition task. Currently, they are working as a Research Engineer at Mind Foundry since 2021.

Andreas Pentaliotis has an education history that includes a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen (2018-2020), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Cyprus (2013-2018). Andreas has also obtained certifications from edX and Coursera in Secure Coding Practices, Introduction to Networking, Introduction to Operating Systems, and Build a Modern Computer from First Principles. Additionally, they obtained a Groningen Spring School on Cognitive Modeling certification from the University of Groningen in 2018, and a Nidan (second dan) in Shotokan Karate certification from the World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (WSKF) in 2010.
