Kat Palaiou

Kat Palaiou, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Kat is currently working as the Solutions Strategy Director at MindGym, where they work closely with clients in the early stages of projects to understand their challenges and propose effective solutions. Previously, they held positions at Ofcom as the Leadership Development & People Management Manager, KPMG as an Advisor in People Consulting, and Unilever as the Global Performance Management Lead. In these roles, they focused on leadership development, talent management, performance management, and implementing strategies aligned with diversity and inclusion goals. Additionally, they have worked as a researcher and tutor at University College London and the University of Glasgow, highlighting their expertise in statistics and academia.

Kat Palaiou, PhD has a strong educational background with a focus on psychology and organizational behavior. Kat obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2016 from UCL. Kat'sPhD research, titled "From Dawn to Dusk: the role of personality in different organizational contexts," explored the influence of personality traits within various work environments. Prior to their PhD, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Research Methods in Psychology at UCL in 2013.

Kat also holds a Master of Social Science (M.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Kat'seducation in psychology dates back to their earlier years, as they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy & Psychology from the University of Ioannina in Greece from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kat Palaiou has obtained several certifications in the field. Kat is an Accredited Strengths Profile Practitioner, having completed the training provided by Strengths Profile in July 2021. In January 2020, they obtained a Diploma in Culture Transformation from the Barrett Values Centre. Kat is also a Lumina Spark Practitioner, having completed the training provided by Lumina Learning in December 2019. Lastly, they hold a Hogan Certificate of Professional Development from Hogan Assessment Systems, which they obtained in February 2015.
