François Monette

François Monette has a diverse and extensive work experience, with a career spanning over 20 years. François currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Mind in a Box since May 2021. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at Inmind Technologies Inc, starting in 2014. François was the Programs Director of Strategy - R&D and the Director of Implementation - Technologies and Strategies. François also worked as a Management Consultant at Cirque du Soleil for a short period in 2014. Before that, they served as a Scientific Advisor at d'Astous Groupe Conseil inc. from 2011 to 2014. François started their career as a Customer Project Manager at Ericsson in 2011. François also gained valuable experience at Cirque du Soleil as the Director of Planning and Business Development for the Merchandising & Hospitality department, where they oversaw major projects and managed a team. François has also worked at Quebecor World Inc. as a Project Manager and at Enfant Terrible as a Business Planner and Administrator. Additionally, they have experience in real estate development as a Co-Developer and Project Manager at Volume Urbain inc. and as a Co-founder of the transactional website, Inbeatmusic. François Monette obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business (marketing) from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) from 1991 to 1994. In 1998, they enrolled at SGI and completed the Unix system administrator I, II, and Onyx 2 maintenance programs, studying Computer Science until 2002. Additionally, François Monette obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2006.
