Brandon Smith

Director, Mathematics Innovation at MIND Research Institute

Brandon Smith is a seasoned educator and innovator in mathematics, currently serving as Director of Mathematics Innovation and Product Director at MIND Research Institute since January 2012. In these roles, Brandon creates and drives the development of engaging math products that promote mathematical play, while also serving as Lead Mathematician to design out-of-classroom math experiences and collaborate with partners on mathematics rethinking initiatives. Prior to this, Brandon gained teaching experience as an Instructor at Vanguard University of Southern California and an Adjunct Instructor at California State University, Fullerton. Brandon holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from UC Irvine, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Vanguard University of Southern California.
