Satish Balkrishna Borwankar

Mr. Satish Balkrishna Borwankar is a B-Tech (Hons.)- Mechanical Engineering, of 1974 batch of IIT Kanpur. He started his carrier with Tata Motors from 1974 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. He acquired wide experience of working in automobile industry, particularly in manufacturing and quality functions of commercial vehicles & passenger vehicles of Tata Motors.

Mr. Borwankar worked in various executive positions, for overseeing and implementing product development, manufacturing operations and quality assurance of commercial & passenger vehicle business of Tata Motors. He played significant role in setting up some of the green field projects in Tata Motors. He superannuated as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer after serving the Organisation for 45 years. He has also served as a Board member for various companies such as Jaguar Land Rover India Private Ltd., Tata Cummins Private Ltd. etc.
