Carolyn Ellesmere has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Carolyn is currently the Executive Career and Leadership Coach at Carolyn Ellesmere Coaching Ltd, where they support the growth and personal development of high-performing individuals and helps leaders enhance their leadership capabilities. Carolyn is also a Fellow Coach and Coach Facilitator at BetterUp, where they assist individuals in achieving their goals using evidence-based techniques. Additionally, Carolyn has worked as an Associate Coach at Mindbeat and as an Executive Coach at the NHS South West Leadership Academy. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Strategic HR Advisor at The Reward Practice, Director Human Capital at Deloitte, Project Director at PwC, Director at KPMG, and HR Manager at Barclays Investment Bank.

Carolyn Ellesmere has a diverse education history in the field of coaching and business studies. From 2022 to 2025, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Coaching for Behavioural Change at Henley Business School. In 2022, they also obtained a Certificate in Plant Nutrition from the University of Winchester. Additionally, Carolyn holds a Diploma in Coaching from the University of Warwick and completed Business Studies with a focus on Human Resources at The Manchester Metropolitan University.

In terms of additional certifications, Carolyn has a range of qualifications. In 2022, they became a Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. In 2020, they completed the Neuroscience Professional Development Programme offered by The British Psychological Society. In the same year, Carolyn also obtained certification in Conscious Business Coaching at BetterUp. In 2019, they achieved EQi and EQ 360 Certification from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS). Furthermore, Carolyn is an Accredited Test User through The British Psychological Society since 2018. Carolyn is also a Senior Practitioner Coach recognized by the EMCC - European Mentoring and Coaching Council, achieved in 2021.
