Claire Buchanan, PCC has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Claire began their career as a Marketing Manager at Col'Cacchio Holdings (Pty) Ltd in 2009 before moving on to work as a Marketing Consultant at Isilumko Activate | Staffing | Industrial in 2010. In 2011, they joined New Media as an Account Director, where they remained until 2015. Following this, Claire worked as a Consultant at TutorGroup from 2016 to 2017. In 2016, they also started their own business, Claire Buchanan, where they served as a Leadership, Business, and Life Coach. Claire concurrently worked as a Marketing Consultant at GREEN HOME from 2017 to 2017. Claire then served as an Independent Marketing and Publishing Consultant from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they joined Thrive Partners Ltd as an Associate Coach. Claire subsequently held various coaching roles at BetterUp, including Associate Coach from June 2019 to November 2019, Fellow Coach from December 2019 to May 2022, and Premier Fellow Coach from June 2022. Additionally, Claire served as an Associate Coach at CoachHub.io - The digital coaching platform from February 2020 and at Mindbeat from October 2020.

Claire Buchanan, PCC has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields. In 1998-2001, they attended the University of Cape Town and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, focusing on Philosophy, Language, and Thought. In 2002, they furthered their education at the same university and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. Later, in 2016, Claire completed a TEFL Master Course at learnTEFL.

In terms of coaching education, Claire completed the Advanced Diploma in Practitioner Coaching at The Coaching Centre in 2016-2017. Claire also became a Certified Integral Coach at The Coaching Centre in August 2017. In 2020, they pursued additional certifications, including a Certificate in Conscious Business Coaching from BetterUp and an Introduction to Transactional Analysis, TA 101 from TA Matters and Coaching Development.

Claire is an active member of the International Coaching Federation, becoming a Member in December 2020. Claire also achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation in December 2020. Other certifications include becoming a Certified Conscious Business Coach from BetterUp in August 2020, a Certified CoachHub Coach from CoachHub.io in March 2020, and completion of the ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) from the International Coaching Federation in August 2017.
