Janie Wilson has a diverse range of work experience spanning several years. In 1990, they worked as a facilitator and coach at Passport Coaching and Consulting, where they helped individuals make important life and career decisions. From 2007 onwards, they served as an Action Learning Facilitator at the School for Social Entrepreneurs, utilizing the action learning approach to address challenges and drive progress. In 2009, they became a co-owner of the Action Learning Centre, where they implemented the principles of action learning to foster meaningful and purposeful action. Additionally, Janie worked as a facilitator for the CSM Immersion Programme from 2008 to 2010. Janie joined Airbus in 2014 as a coach and facilitator, leveraging their expertise to support leadership development, career growth, and team dynamics within the company. Janie also co-founded Action Learning Centre (ALC) Limited in 2012, where they held the roles of Co-Founder and Principal Consultant. Finally, they are currently employed at Mindbeat as a coach, focusing on helping individuals reach their full potential.
Janie Wilson completed their education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1983 to 1985, where they received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Social policy and Social Work. Prior to that, they attended York University Yorkshire UK from 1976 to 1979, earning a BA Honours degree in Sociology and Social/Economic History. In addition to their academic degrees, Janie also obtained a certification as a Professional Certified Coach from Erickson Coaching International in 2005.
