Currently serving as a pharmacist at Walgreens Boots Alliance since March 2023, Samantha previously worked as a clinical pharmacist at Minden Medical Center from April 2020 to April 2023 and as an ambulatory care pharmacist at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport from August 2019 to April 2020. Samantha holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana Monroe, obtained in May 2013, and an MBA in Health Care Administration and Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Graduate School, completed in May 2023.

Minden Medical Center planted its roots in 1926, as a four-story building with only an x-ray department, one operating room, a room for tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies, one delivery room, 80 hospital beds and a strong commitment to quality healthcare. Today, it has blossomed into a 161-bed acute care hospital serving a population of more than 70,000. It is the only hospital in the southern portion of Webster Parish. More than 1,600 people each month seek emergency care in our emergency facility. Minden Medical Center has more than 500 employees, including our off-site locations, with an annual payroll of approximately $27M.
