Principal, Freedom From Violence at Minderoo Foundation

Freya Jansens is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in gender equality and economic policy development. Currently serving as the Principal for Freedom from Violence at the Minderoo Foundation and as an External Consultant for Gender and Green Budgeting at the OECD, Freya Jansens has worked on significant projects, including a Gender Budgeting Review in Brazil and workshops for Scotland's government. Previous roles include Women's Economic Policy Adviser at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, where Freya Jansens contributed to the Workplace Gender Equality Act Review and led international engagements on gender budgeting. Freya Jansens is also a John Monash Scholar and has been recognized as a Forté Fellow, highlighting a commitment to leadership and women's issues.
