Gangeshwar Krishnamurthy

Gangeshwar Krishnamurthy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gangeshwar is currently the Co-Founder & CTO at MindFi since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at MindFi from July 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining MindFi, Gangeshwar worked as a Research Engineer at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research from October 2017 to July 2021. Gangeshwar was a member of the A*STAR AI Initiative and the Social & Cognitive Computing Department at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). During their time there, they contributed to projects related to Causal Learning, Sentiment Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Question Answering, and Commonsense Knowledgebase.

In 2017, Gangeshwar also worked as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, under the supervision of Prof. Chng Eng Siong. Gangeshwar was involved in projects named "Query by Example" and "Sentence Boundary Detection" as part of the Temasek Labs@NTU (TL@NTU).

In 2016, Gangeshwar gained industry experience as a Software Development Engineer (Data Science) Intern at Microsoft. Gangeshwar worked on projects with the Universal Store Team, specifically on their advertisement platform, BingAds. During their internship, they focused on classifying advertisements related to games and analyzing their effect on the platform's performance.

Prior to that, Gangeshwar held the position of Google Android Facilitator - Club Head at Androzign from February 2015 to August 2016. Gangeshwar also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Grinions from January 2016 to March 2016. At Grinions, they were responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the alpha and beta versions of the group-sourcing platform.

In 2015, Gangeshwar interned as a Full-Stack Engineer at Solarify.in, where they were responsible for designing and developing the architecture of the firm's web app.

Gangeshwar's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Shwavan Inc. in 2013, where they served as the CEO & Co-Founder until August 2015. Gangeshwar was responsible for the overall performance of the company and had a strong focus on web app and mobile app development.

Gangeshwar Krishnamurthy has a diverse educational background. Gangeshwar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science from Bangalore Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they completed their Senior Secondary Education in Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Additionally, they have another Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

In terms of certifications, they have completed the "Developing Android Apps" course offered by Udacity and the "HTML5 Workshop" provided by NIIT Technologies Limited. Gangeshwar also participated in the AdMob Student App Challenge and received a Certificate of Participation from Google. Moreover, they have achieved the "Future Space Scientist Program - Winner" certification from Oracle. Furthermore, they have completed several training programs related to research and ethics, including the "All groups Responsible Conduct of Research," "All groups Human Subjects Research," and "Communicating Research Findings" courses offered by CITI Program, a division of BRANY. In 2007, Gangeshwar was recognized as a Finalist in the Student Webpage Contest by Oracle.

Most recently, in the summer of 2021, Gangeshwar Krishnamurthy attended Y Combinator for their Summer 2021 program.
