Ava Nemes, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Mindful Care, serving New York City and Westchester County. Ava earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology from Harvard University which reaffirmed her interest in both social and natural sciences. As an undergraduate, she was a peer counselor, specializing in suicide prevention and helping survivors of sexual assault. She went on to earn an additional bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.In her practice, Ava creates a supportive atmosphere in which patients of all backgrounds can feel comfortable being open and honest about their concerns without fear of judgement.
