Daniel Spier

Daniel Spier is a psychiatric physician assistant currently working at Atlantic Health System since October 2023, where the focus is on mental health and substance use disorders within intensive outpatient and acute partial hospitalization programs. Prior to this role, Daniel took a sabbatical from October 2022 to September 2023, during which time personal and professional growth was prioritized through work as a certified virtual personal trainer, completion of the NEI Master Psychopharmacology Program, and travel across eight Southeast Asian countries. From March 2017 to September 2022, Daniel served as a primary care physician assistant and quality improvement chair at Northwell Health, providing care for HIV patients and leading initiatives that earned recognition in LGBTQ+ health equality. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Muhlenberg College.
