Nicholas Obertis

Nicholas Obertis, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant on the team of providers at Mindful Care in New York’s Long Island locations.

Nicholas earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the City University of New York’s York College in Queens. He worked as a physician assistant in other specialties but was most passionate about his work in psychiatry because of the human connections that it affords him.

He enjoys making a direct and dramatic impact on the lives of his patients and their families by spending time with them in person, helping them through their darkest moments, and guiding them to a positive and transformative outcome. He particularly likes how personably he’s able to interact with his psychiatry patients.
