Ed Meador

Co-Founder, Chief Inspiration Officer, Game Designer at MindHeart Lab

Ed is the founder Tony's son, his best friend and the inspiration behind EduPal (the Ed in EduPal). Growing up with ADHD, mental challenges and dual-diagnosis, Ed was addicted to Meth at age 13. Diagnosed with Schizophrenia at age 19, Ed ran away from home many times and became homeless, eventually ending up at Skid Rowe in LA. Struggling with the disease, Ed inspired his parents by continuing his education, working with his grand parents to obtain his GED. Ed was a typical boy playing basketball, soccer and especially playing interactive games, wanting to be a Game Designer. The founder's other son James passed after a brain disorder and his mom diagnosed with Parkinson's, Tony believed he could leverage his technology background and work with his son to change the world for kids and others with brain disorders. Ed's goal is to develop games and tools and to inspire other kids and adults with mental health disorders to become successful and live happy and productive lives.
