MindLabs
Nathan Volkers is a professional with diverse experience in innovation, sustainability, and education. Currently serving as a Field Labs, Research Funding & New Partnerships specialist at MindLabs since August 2023, Nathan collaborates with Tilburg's knowledge institutions, governments, and corporate partners to integrate new technologies responsibly. As a Co-Founder of the Future Diaper Project since September 2020, Nathan focuses on minimizing the environmental impact of baby diaper usage through research and design. Nathan also has a background in academia, having lectured in Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam Business School from September 2019 to August 2021. Prior experience includes co-founding Flatland Visual Thinking, a consultancy aimed at enhancing teams' communication and strategic visions. Nathan holds a Master of Science in Facade Design from Delft University of Technology and a course in Finance for Non-Financial Managers from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

The interaction between people and technology is the focal point of the activities and supplements exisiting initiatives. Both large enterprises and startups, together with educational institutes are part of the MindLabs ecosystem.
