Lucie Blancpain

Lucie Blancpain has over 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Lucie is currently the Director of Operations at MindMaze. Prior to this, Lucie held the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Hercules Group SA, where they also served as the Head of International Operations & Governmental Affairs. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and approaching manufacturers, leading project teams, implementing market penetration strategies, and managing financial structures. Lucie has also worked as the Country Head - Switzerland at Earthworm Foundation and as the Head of Strategy and Operations at Altrove Innovation. Lucie started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Fribourg and completed a Bar Internship at Frilegal SA. Lucie's diverse experience includes legal work as a Lawyer-Juriste at BCV - Banque Cantonale Vaudoise.

Lucie Blancpain has a diverse education history. In 2001-2005, they earned a Bachelor and Master of Law from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg. Lucie further pursued their legal education and obtained a Swiss Bar/Brevet suisse d'avocat in 2008-2009. Lucie also has a background in gemology, having completed the Colored Stone Essentials GEM120 and Diamond Essentials GEM130 courses at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in 2017. Lucie then focused on project management, earning an Applied Project Management Certificate, PMP from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in 2018-2019. Lucie also expanded their knowledge in supply chain management, obtaining a Supply Chain Management Certificate from INSEAD in 2019. Their executive education includes an Executive MBA in Master in Corporate Finance from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne in 2013-2014. Most recently, in 2023-2024, Lucie attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to obtain a Chief Operating Officer Certificate with a specialization in Operations.
