Paula Jacobsen

Paula Jacobsen has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Paula is currently working at MindMed as the Sr Director of Clinical Science. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Development at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. Paula has also worked as an independent consultant, specializing in strategic drug development. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Takeda Global Research and Development Center, SCIREX Corporation, Waubonsee Community College, MHMR of Tarrant County, and Tarrant County College. At Takeda, they played a key role in the development and analysis of clinical trials and collaborated with the FDA on study designs. Paula also managed clinical trials, budgets, vendors, and conducted audits. At SCIREX Corporation, Paula led a team of data managers responsible for cleaning and querying clinical trial data. In addition, they have experience as an instructor of biology and evaluation specialist. Overall, Paula Jacobsen has a diverse background in clinical development, drug development, data management, and education.

Paula Jacobsen completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Research Methodology from Loyola University Chicago in 2018. Paula also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from North Central College, as well as a Master of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
