Alex Oropeza

Alex Oropeza is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the design and entertainment industries. Currently serving as a Partner at Minds Over Matter Design LLC since December 2020, Alex has previously held significant positions such as VP of Design Strategy for MSG SPHERE at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. from November 2017 to May 2019. Prior to that, Alex worked at Obscura Digital in various roles including Vice President of Design Strategy, Director of Creative Services, and Senior Executive Producer from 2011 to 2017. Earlier in the career, Alex served as Director of Systems/Executive Producer and Technical Director/Producer at Obscura Digital from 2007 to 2011, and Chief Engineer/Producer/Technical Director at Asphodel Records / Recombinant Media Labs from 1994 to 2007. Academic credentials include studies at Mills College from 1991 to 1993 and a degree from the University of Arizona from 1985 to 1989.
