Steve Clagett

Steve Clagett is a Policy Analyst at Mindset since May 2023, following an internship in International Economic Policy at the American Action Forum earlier that year. Prior experience includes serving as a Legislative Intern for Representative Smith in the U.S. House of Representatives and a Search Fund Analyst at Blue Glass Capital. Steve has also gained experience as a Government Affairs Intern at Edelman and as a Campaign Intern with the Monmouth County Republican Committee. Involvement in the American University International Relations Society includes participation as Model United Nations Staff. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University and is currently enrolled in the part-time weekend J.D. program at Seton Hall University School of Law, expected to graduate in 2028. Additionally, Steve studied in the EU in Action Program at Université catholique de Louvain in Brussels, Belgium.
