Dr. Kendra Coates

Dr. Kendra Coates is a professional with extensive experience in education and social-emotional learning. Dr. Kendra currently serves as the Regional Director of Mindset and Social and Emotional Learning at High Desert Education Service District. In addition, Dr. Kendra is a Professor at OSU-Cascades, an author and Professional Learning Specialist at Mindset Works, and a Consultant at Up by Design, LLC. Dr. Coates has a background in teaching, special education, and program development, focused on fostering growth mindsets and social-emotional development from early childhood through higher education. Dr. Kendra holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon, among other degrees in education and psychology.
