Kate Downing

Kate Downing is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic roles across leading organizations. Currently serving as Global Strategy Business Director at Mindshare since June 2023, Kate focuses on client Unilever. Previously, Kate held the position of Creative Connections Director at UM Australia from March 2022 to May 2023, leading integrated planning and partnerships for various Australian Federal Government departments. Kate's earlier roles include Director of Strategic Partnerships at Outernet Global Ltd and several positions at Mindshare, including Global Content and Partnerships Manager, Global Innovation and Media Futures Manager, and Global Trading and Operations Manager, working with prestigious clients such as Rolex and Diageo. Before entering the advertising and media industry, Kate worked at Paramount as Advertising and Sponsorship Manager and Executive. Kate holds a Bachelor of Communication in Advertising and Public Relations from Queensland University of Technology, obtained between 2009 and 2012.
