Nico Ruan

Nico Ruan has diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Courtesy Check at Orange County Government until August 2012. From January 2012 to May 2015, Nico served as a Front of House Manager at Sonoma State University. In 2015, they joined LightBox as a Customer Success Analyst, eventually being promoted to a Technical Support Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for addressing escalated issues, serving as a product expert, and ensuring customer satisfaction. From January 2019 to November 2021, Nico worked as a QA Tester at Sega of America, Inc., where they executed thorough testing, identified and documented defects, and contributed to the QA project test plan. Currently, Nico works as a QA Engineer at Mindshow, starting in November 2021. Additionally, in 2023, they plan to explore their passion for game development as an Indie Game Developer.

Nico Ruan attended Segerstrom High School from 2007 to 2011. After completing high school, Nico went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at Sonoma State University from 2011 to 2015.
