West Askew

West Askew is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development, design, and strategy within the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor to the CEO at Mindtrip, Inc. since March 2025, West previously founded and led Thatch, which became the leading eCommerce platform for travel creators before its acquisition by Mindtrip.ai in March 2025. With a strong engineering background, West co-founded FLO LABS, focusing on connected sensors for outdoor experiences, and played a key role on the founding team at Verily (formerly Google[x]), leading mechanical engineering efforts for life sciences initiatives. Early career experience includes positions at Avinger Inc., Medtronic, and Google, where West contributed to innovative medical devices and smart technologies. West holds a degree in Bioengineering with a specialization in Medical Devices from Santa Clara University.
