Lisa Desai, Psy.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. From 1996 to the present, they have been a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, specializing in individual psychotherapy with adolescents, college students, and adults. Lisa also offers family therapy and consultation services to high schools, using a cognitive-behavioral and relational therapeutic approach within a culturally informed framework.

In 2014, Lisa founded and served as the Managing Director of Better Business Globally, LLC., a company that provides consultation services and training to employees and family members facing international relocation. Lisa held this role until 2017.

Since 2017, Lisa has been working at MindWise Innovations. Lisa started as the Director of Mental Health Screening and Research until 2020, when they became the Director of Behavioral Health Consulting. In June 2021, they were promoted to the position of Chief Behavioral Health Officer, which they currently hold.

Lisa Desai, Psy.D. completed their Post Doctoral Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychology Program at Mclean Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 1992 to 1994. Lisa also obtained their Doctorate in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology, from Wright State University. Additionally, they underwent post-doctoral training at Mclean Hospital/Harvard Medical School through an internship at Children's Hospital of Michigan. In terms of additional certifications, Lisa obtained a certificate in "Developing Health-Centered Communities: The Next Revolution in Real Estate" from MIT Professional Education in May 2021.
