Zafar Khan

Zafar Khan is the current VP of Legal & Corporate Affairs at Mindzie. Prior to joining Mindzie, Zafar served as the Head of Legal at BroadbandTV from February 2020 to May 2020. In this role, Zafar was responsible for the management and oversight of BBTV's legal team, providing a broad range of support to BBTV's digital media portfolio and associated operations.

Before joining BroadbandTV, Zafar spent over 4 years at Avigilon as the Senior Vice President of Legal. In this role, they were responsible for the management and operational oversight of a 15+ person team supporting the global operations of a leading manufacturer of video surveillance, video analytics, and access control solutions. Zafar's responsibilities included working with other members of senior management to assess and execute strategic initiatives, providing legal advice and support for all corporate/commercial matters, ongoing global expansion, employer/employee disputes, litigation, regulatory compliance, and privacy compliance. Zafar also oversaw corporate tax planning and compliance and the protection of intellectual property rights. Zafar was a member of the deal team for Avigilon's US$1 billion acquisition by Motorola Solutions in March 2018.

Zafar Khan pursued a Bachelor of Laws at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. Zafar then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics at Western University.

Their manager is James Henderson, CEO. They work with Daniel Hughes - VP, Global Sales, Philippe Favreau - Business Process Consultant, and Soren Frederiksen - CTO.
