Yaobin Wen

Yaobin Wen has worked as a software engineer since 2006. In 2011, they joined Shenzhen Ennovar Technology Co., Ltd. as a Lead Software Engineer where they led a team of three junior developers to develop a service-based backend system in C/C++ on Linux and Windows. Yaobin used YouTrack and burn-down chart to plan, manage and track the development tasks and defects, and SVN to manage source code and documents. In 2016, they moved to Mine Vision Systems as a Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Augmentum as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they collaborated with other team leads to lead the offshore team in China to serve the customer in Silicon Valley to develop the next-generation drug discovery lab automation platform, using C++/MFC on Windows. Yaobin also wrote design documents and discussed with customer’s development team, implemented features, and fixed bugs reported by QA team.

Yaobin Wen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2006. Yaobin then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015.
