Willy-Sebastian Metzger has a diverse and extensive work experience. Willy-Sebastian began their career with internships at Aebi Schmidt Holding AG, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Commerzbank AG, Peter Jungen Holding, and State of the Art AG from 2000 to 2006. In 2007, they joined mageba group as the Head of Marketing & Business Development, where they were responsible for marketing and business development initiatives. From 2011 to 2013, Metzger worked as the Head of Marketing & Communication at FAGUS-GRECON GRETEN GMBH & CO. KG, where they established and managed a marketing and communication department. Willy-Sebastian then moved to Sartorius in 2014 as a Strategy & Business Development Manager. Currently, Metzger is employed at Minebea Intec, where they have held various roles, including Director of Strategy & Business Development and currently holds the position of Director of Strategy, Business Development & Marketing since 2016.

Willy-Sebastian Metzger started their education in 1991 at Kolleg St. Blasien, Black Forrest in Germany, where they obtained their Abitur qualification in 2000. In 1997-1998, they attended East Stroudsburg High School in Pennsylvania, USA, and earned their High School Diploma, awarded with High Honors. Willy-Sebastian then went on to pursue their higher education at Maastricht University, where they completed a Diploma in International Business Studies (IBS) for their Master's degree from 2001 to 2006. In 2005, they also completed a Minor's Degree in European Studies (ES) from the same university. Additionally, in 2005, Willy-Sebastian briefly studied at Universidad del Pacífico in Peru, focusing on the field of Negocios Internacionales (International Management).
