James Crossman

Senior System Engineer at Minelab Metal Detectors

James Crossman is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and fire safety. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Minelab Metal Detectors since October 2017, James has previously held engineering roles at Sydac, where responsibilities included the design and support of Rail Simulators, and at Raytheon and REDARC Electronics Pty Ltd, focusing on system requirements and PCB design respectively. In addition to engineering expertise, James has a long-standing commitment to the Country Fire Service as a Senior Fire Fighter since January 1999, demonstrating skills in communication, teamwork, hazard assessment, and leadership. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic) with First Class Honours from Flinders University and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management from Leadership Management Australasia.
